Artisan P announces debut solo album ‘Golden Summer’

We are pleased to announce the release of Artisan P’s first full-length solo album titled Golden Summer, coming out on October 21st. As songs that have been collecting and in the works for the past few years, Golden Summer is an ode to lessons learned of the summers past, while expressing eagerness for more summers to come. With production credits including OGxLOOP and denhead, as well as label-mates Buster Wolf, DJ Proof, and Late Show Host, the sounds range from dark and introspective, to bright and optimistic. While rooted in the vein of boom-bap, this album includes electronic and lo-fi influences, with each song tapping into the vintage sound of the music we grew up listening to.

Previously released songs “Golden”, “Adult Swim”, and “Never Wanna Leave” will appear on the album. The album will be released on CD and cassette, and available on all streaming services. Pre-orders for the physical copies and Spotify pre-save begin on Friday, September 2nd.
